Welcome to the Exchange Programme

Thank you for choosing to study with us and we hope that your time at the University will be enjoyable and rewarding. This page will give you some useful information so you know what to expect during your time here.

We very much value the contributions that exchange students from different parts of the world make to the life of the University. At the same time, we want to provide you with a supportive and flexible exchange programme which allows you to gain the academic credits you need to take back to your home university.

We are looking forward to meeting you individually, but we do know that coming to a new university in a foreign country can be daunting. We want to make it as easy as possible for you to understand what you can expect during your induction and enrolment and where you can get help if you need it. We hope that these web pages, along with the email you'll receive from us, will give you all the information you need.

Studying at the Buxton Campus

If you are studying modules for Tourism, Hospitality Management or Events Management, or modules on the Masters programme in Spa Management, your enrolment and teaching will take place at our Buxton Campus. Members of the international team based at Buxton will be able to help you with information. Contact Denise Chandler or email erasmus@derby.ac.uk for advice.

Studying at the Derby Campus

All our other subjects are taught at the Derby Campus and you will be invited to enrol at Kedleston Road. During the induction and enrolment period we'll also have a Joint Honours stand in the Atrium with staff who'll be able to help you if you're not sure what you need to do.
