University of Derby Community Fund

We are proud to be investing in our new Chesterfield Campus at St Helena. This exciting new project will not only enable us to expand our higher education offer in the town, but also support local people through our work with the community.

The University is always looking for innovative ways to support the villages, towns and city that contribute so heavily to our success and the Community Fund is just one of the ways that our institution gives back to local people.

Over the next year, the University will be handing out grants to inspirational projects that seek to benefit the community in some way. It could be conservation, wellbeing programmes, youth work or anything that benefits the local community. Whatever you're doing, we could help with funding.

Community groups throughout Derby and Derbyshire will be able to bid for their share of £15,000 over the next 12 months. There will be three rounds of funding in 2016/17, with £5,000 available in each round.

The first round of applications will be available in September 2016, with successful bids being awarded funding in November 2016.
