The Devonshire Library at Buxton can be found off the main Dome area. There is a large spacious reading room, which contains print resources, as well as smaller rooms to provide you with different study environment. We are open seven days a week during term time, with additional opening at key assignment deadlines.

Your Subject Librarians will work with you to develop the research and information skills you need at university. We provide you with online guides and a wide variety of drop-in workshops throughout the year. Have a look at one of our guides for resources and information for your subject. We maintain Reading Lists for all of your modules, linking what you are studying in class to resources available for independent study.

You can search our Library catalogue to find books and ebooks. You can also renew books on loan here.

As well as resources to support your studies you can borrow fiction, films and books on general interest topics.

For more information about our resources and support, you can explore our main library website, or speak to any member of the team.
