Cathedral Court

Cathedral Court opened for students in September 2016. With 350 student rooms it is located in the Cathedral Quarter of Derby city centre.  There are plenty of bars, restaurants and shops nearby as well as the QUAD Arts Centre and cinema, Deda (Derby Dance Centre) and the market place which is a hub for many Derby LIVE activities.

Contracts for this hall are 42 weeks.

Parking at Cathedral Court

Cathedral Court is a car free site so there is only disabled parking available.  If you require parking you should:

  • consider living at one of our other halls where there are parking spaces available
  • apply for a room at Cathedral Court but make private arrangements for parking nearby.Three monthly, six monthly and twelve monthly permits are available. Find out more about parking at Chapel Street or Bold Lane.
  • Apply for a room at Cathedral Court and be put on a waiting list to get a space at a nearby hall.  Please note that this does not guarantee you will get a parking space as priority will be given to students living at the particular hall.

Meet the Manager‌

Sara Hickinbotham is the Hall Manager of Cathedral Court.

She likes cooking, going to the gym and relaxing with her family and cat, Spike, in her spare time.

She is on site Monday to Friday 9.30am - 4pm.
