When should I arrive?
- Find out when to attend your course induction and enrolment - select your course from the A-Z list to find the date and time you need to arrive at our Kedleston Road site.
Your course starts with an induction session.This is really important, it's where you'll find out everything you need to know about what you'll be doing during the year and find out what support services are here at University to help you.
International students
We like to welcome our international students to Derby a little earlier than the rest of our students, so you have plenty of time to get to know us, the University and Derby before your course starts.

- As an international student you'll be invited to the International Orientation running on Monday 9 to Friday 13 January. You'll get to know Derby and the University, how to register with the doctor and police. Find out more
What if I can't make induction?
Induction is a vital part of your introduction to university and your programme so we would urge you to attend. However, if you really can't, please make sure you attend the enrolment for your course on Monday 16 January, any time between 2pm and 7pm.
Enrolling
Enrolment takes place on January 16 (apart from the LLM and MSc Cybercrime and E-Investigation). Find out more on the information page for the course you are starting.
Pay your fees for the year
If you would like to pay the whole fee amount for the year in January, then please contact Ray Lock in Student Records and Fees, stating your name, student number and request to be set up prior to enrolment.
Help during enrolment
If you have any queries, before, during or after enrolment, please come along to our faculty reception in the East Tower at Kedleston Road, on the 5th floor.
