How is my Honours classification worked out?
You need to gain 360 credits for an honours award. At least 220 of these credits must be from levels 5 and 6.
Classification category is determined by working out a weighted average of your final two years of study. Level 5 is weighted at 20% and level 6 is weighted at 80%. If your weighted average is equal to or greater than the threshold mark, you will be awarded that classification. Where the average grade falls into the borderline range, the level 6 marks will be reviewed; at least 60 credits at level 6 must be at or above the threshold mark.
