How to submit assignments on campus

Student working on assignment

Each University site receives assignments at the Student Support Centre. This ensures that all students receive an official, date-stamped receipt for each piece of work handed in. To find out how to hand in an assignment go to the Student Support Centre web pages and select the site you'll be handing your assignments in to. You'll be able to find out details of how to submit assignments as well as check assignment hand in times (these do vary between sites). You can also find contact details for each of the centres.

If you're studying at our Buxton campus you can find assignment hand-in information on the Programme Advisory Service web pages.

To help you to be successful during your study it's important you manage your time effectively. We've got some tips and advice on how you can take control of your time.

Managing your time effectively will help you if you need to make a claim for exceptional extenuating circumstances (EEC). You can claim for EEC if circumstances outside your control prevent you from completing an assessment fully or to the best of your ability. If you claim for EEC, you'll still be required to hand in everything you've done by the deadline date, your claim will then be reviewed - if accepted you'll have another chance to submit. If you haven't managed your time effectivly and don't submit anything your claim won't be considered. Visit our EEC pages for more information.
