Fantastic facilities
You'll study BA (Hons) Photography at Markeaton Street, where we have extensive studios, black and white and colour darkrooms and film processing facilities, dedicated digital suites, photographic studios and an extensive studio equipment store. Our dedicated team will also provide relevant industry experience and technical know-how to support your studies.
Showcase your work
You'll have the chance to take part in festivals and competitions throughout your course and you'll also exhibit your final year work at the Degree Show,
where you'll have the opportunity to make vital industry contacts at the Private View evening.

Support for the creative industries
We offer business support and advice through Banks Mill - our business incubation unit for the creative industries. It provides business workshops, studio workspaces and a bi-annual Open Studios event which gives Banks Mill tenants the opportunity to trade with the public and showcase their work.
Tenants currently include photographers, artists, graphic designers and a film company.
