Dan Harvey - of the team Ackroyd and Harvey - came in to talk about their work.
Through their manipulation of materials, and in particular their ground-breaking work with the light sensitivity of grass and its ability to record complex photographic images, Ackroyd and Harvey's work raises questions of the ephemeral nature of life, decay, time and the fragility of the planet.
Dan Harvey's talk covered three areas of their work, working with grass, working with crystals and his recent trip to Spitsbergen, Svalbard in the High Arctic as part of the Cape Farewell project to raise awareness about climate change.
