Neal Morgan, a BA (Hons) Commercial Photography graduate and Nisha Nath (a creative writer) challenged media representations of the area by capturing brief and beautiful moments in time of its ever changing cultures, charm and colours.
Aspiration Normanton is a unique photographic and written word exhibition exploring the diverse places and faces of the Normanton area of Derby, and discovering the gems it holds.
The exhibition was organised by Surtal Asian Arts and was supported by our University and Derby Community Safety Partnership.
The work was exhibited throughout November and December at various locations in Derby.
