Lydia Garner, a graduate of the BA (Hons) Illustration course has successfully been selected for the Assosciation of Illustrators' Images 35 Exhibition. Below Lydia discusses the doll inspired artwork and her work as a freelance illustrator.
Work and inspiration for Images 35
The brief was to create an interactive children's book on the subject of dolls. The aim was to encourage children to use creativity and the use their imagination.
Working as an illustrator
I currently produce illustrations in-house at a design agency, as well as working on a range of self-directed promotional projects and commissions, including zines and craft-based pieces.
