Catherine Sweetman, one of our BA (Hons) Illustration gratduates has two pieced of artwork being showcased in Association of Illustrators' Images 35 Exhibition.

Two images that I submitted under the self promotion category have been chosen for the Association of Illustrators' Exhibition, Images 35: Best of British Illustration 2011.
The first image that I enterered was a response to the brief set for the London Transport competition to create an image that promoted cycling in London as a fun inclusive activity.
My second image, ' b is for' is a page from a personnel project to produce a children's alphabet book that encourages narrative and word searching as a sort of visional linguistic puzzle.
Working as a freelance illustrator
Since I've graduated, I have been doing freelance work for charities and small businesses, in addition to entering artwork for competitions. Lately I've been experimenting with the iPad using the paint app with a view to moving my line drawing into a more digital format.
