I have spoken to the students who took part last summer and they have said:
- They really enjoyed the experience and would definitely like to take part again.
- They loved working independently - being set a brief and then having to work out aspects for themselves.
- Good to also take part in group work - and meet different people from other schools.
- Good to be in a university environment.
From a teaching point of view - students gained more confidence and it has broadened their views on courses available. Where possible we have tried to integrate their work into coursework eg Hayley was in the fashion group and has included a page on draping and modelling.
