It explores animation, with particular emphasis on the developments in technology that enable you to produce broadcast quality animations for the commercial world, or to communicate your own personal ideas.

Recent guests have included; One Dot Zero and BAFTA award winning animator from the BBC Wonderland series, Jonathan Hodgson. And you'll receive personal and guided tuition from our approachable, experienced staff to ensure you reach your full potential.
Support for your career
We offer business support and advice through Banks Mill - our business incubation unit for the creative industries. It provides business workshops, studio workspaces and a bi-annual Open Studios event which gives Banks Mill tenants the opportunity to trade with the public and showcase their work.
Tenants currently include graphic designers, photographers, artists, and a film company.
Have you thought about taking our MDes?
It's an undergraduate and postgraduate course combined. You'll study for four years and gain a masters degree in Animation.
It means you don't have to worry about the expense and inconvenience of relocating for a separate postgraduate year. And you can get a student loan for all four years of the course.
