Sam Johnson landed his dream job as a Junior Designer working for global brand LEGO, based at the company’s headquarters in Denmark, after graduating from the BA (Hons) Product Design degree course.
Jaacq Hugo and Polis Loizou
Jaacq Hugo and Polis Loizou graduated with a BA (Hons) in Film and Video Production. This has led to them setting up their own business The Off-Off-Off-Broadway Company.
Edward Hogan
Edward graduated with a Joint Honours degree in Creative Writing and English. Ed received great success with his first critically acclaimed novel, Blackmoor, which was short listed for the 2008 Dylan Thomas Prize for young writers, and won the 2009 Desmond Elliot Prize. He's followed this success up with a second novel 'The Hunger Trace'.
Rachel Carter and Laura Ellen Bacon
Laura graduated with a BA (Hons) Applied Arts degree in 2001. Rachel graduated with a BA (Hons) in 3D Sustainable Design and Practice. Together they have created an have outdoor sculpture called 'Linking Forms' on the Kedleston Road site.
Phil Harvey
Phil is a BA (Hons) Graphic Design graduate and owner of award winning creative agency Fluid Ideas based in Derby.
Sam Docker
Sam runs his own business Princes Vintage selling vintage clothing online. He graduated with a BA (Hons) in Creative Product Design.
Ewan Mathers
Ewan graduated in 2009 with a BA (Hons) Commercial Photography and is now a Commercial Photographer based at one of the University of Derby's business incubation units, Banks Mill.
Annette Jansen
Annette graduated with a BA (Hons) in Visual Communications (Graphics). She is now a Graphic Designer and Practicing Freelance Artist.
Louise West
Louise graduated from the BA (Hons) Textile Design and is now studying the MA ADAPT whilst exhibiting her work at Pickford House Museum, Derby.
Elin Joseph
Elin is a Marketing Officer for the Royal Shakespeare Company, she graduated from the BA (Hons) Theatre Arts.
