"It seems JCHP have a continuous problem. They claim they became artists and are, in some way, addicted - they are, in their words, 'rapt by production.' But further, and this seems to be the crux of the problem, they imply, tacitly more than explicitly perhaps, that their condition of being 'rapt' is a sign that they cannot altogether escape the matter of their rejection of the relations of distribution of art. In other words their rejection of the relations of distribution is a subject of their ongoing work - their rejection of the relations of distribution, not the relations of distribution themselves. The spelling out of this rejection seems, in some conspicuous way to generate a significant part of their relations of production, this particular part being their textual production. Apparently there is a strong suggestion that they cannot become completely 'unrapt.' Why is this? There may be some answer, but I suspect it will be a tough response to even formulate accurately an apposite question let alone provide an answer." Terry Atkinson(artist and founder member of Art & Language), quoted from essay :Jeffrey Charles Henry Peacock, 2011
