I lived in Oslo in Norway for 5 years and for some of that time worked for the Norwegian Employment service photographing in factories, building sites and offices. Norway is one of the wealthiest and technologically advanced countries in the world, and with lots of automation and very high health and safety standards etc, but physical work and production still has to be done just like many much poorer countries and often in very harsh conditions.

Hudson is exhibiting in the FORMAT EXPOSURE section of biennale FORMAT International Photography Festival in Derby. His work can be seen here at Markeaton Street. His work can be seen here at Markeaton Street from Friday 8th March until Sunday 7th April 2013.
