The work carried out by members of SPARG feeds directly into teaching material for a number of undergraduate programmes in the School of Technology at Derby. Modules that have grown from the SPARG research group include:

The group provides supervision for small number of postgraduate researchers (MPhil/PhD), working on specific projects. Additionally, some individuals, with a clear direction in mind, come to study within the group leading to fruitful exchanges of ideas and techniques.Contact the research office for further information.

Research opportunities for organisations
SPARG is committed to maintaining close links with industry, in the form of occasional consultancy over a specific technical challenge, periodic long-term consultancy, or providing and supervising significant research and development projects. The Government's Knowledge Transfer Partnership schemes can provide substantial financial assistance for these university/industry collaborations.
