Main research interests
The Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering and Production Design Research group was developed in 1995 and now runs within the Engineering and Built Environment Subject Group at the University of Derby. The research activities within this group focus mainly upon Manufacturing Techniques & Systems, Mechanical Analysis by CFD and FEA, Manufacturing Management, Mechatronics, Industry Robot and Intelligent Systems. These activities include newly developed directions towards newest investigated technologies, such as Nano manufacturing, e-Manufacturing and Intelligent Machines and Systems.
MPhils and PhDs are available in these areas.
