Main research interests
The Built Environment Research Group was launched in 2010 to fill a gap in the research profile of both the faculty of Arts, Design and Technology and the University. Working as a multidisciplinary group BERG focuses on a number of areas in architecture and civil engineering. Researchers within the group are active within research networks both nationally and internationally including the East Midlands Research Network in Philosophy and History of Architecture and Design, and collaborative research in Theory and Context in Architecture and Designing Environments with Dr. Antonio Caperna, Uniroma3, Rome Italy and Prof. Nikos Salingaros, University of Texas.
