Land and Identity book published
21 February 2012
Land and Identity. Theory, Memory and Practise, has been edited by two current members of staff: Professor Neil Campbell and Professor Robert Hudson, and former University of Derby lecturer Dr Christine Berberich who is now at Portsmouth University.
The book is the result of the successful one day symposium of the same name held here at the University of Derby in 2010, and has been published by Rodopi Press. It explores complex issues surrounding contemporary cultural discourses on land and identity - their production, construction, and reconstruction across a range of different texts and materials.
The official launch will be held at the second conference in the series titled Affective Landscapes, for more information on the conference see the website.
