Please note: the procedure for ECFs has changed and is now called Exceptional Extenuating Circumstances (EEC). If you're faced with serious circumstances that may affect you completing an assessment on time, you will need to apply for EEC. You will still need to hand in the work you have managed to do (even notes or other preparatory work) by the deadline date, but you will have the chance to resubmit the fully completed work at a later date if your EEC application is approved.

For more information about what you need to do go to www.derby.ac.uk/eec or speak to your lecturer.
