RAE success
In the Research Assessment Execise (RAE) 2008, the faculty of Arts, Design and Technology contributed to two successful units of assessment, Communication, Cultural and Media Studies and Art and Design.
In Communication, Cultural and Media Studies (CCMS) we received 25% 4* ratings for our research, meaning that 25% of the work submitted from our staff was viewed as 'World-leading' research. 40% was viewed as 3* or 4* (of international and world leading quality).
In Art and Design 25% was of international or world leading quality.
