Our Technology, Art and Design programmes are taught at Markeaton Street - an architecturally innovative building that has fantastic facilities and equipment, with a mixture of classrooms, auditoria, workshops, offices and studios.

A focal point of the site is the central glazed avenue called The Street. This is the vibrant spine of the building, which links all the different departments and provides a social space for meeting and relaxing between lectures. It also provides the perfect venue for artistic exhibitions and events, and recently played host to the UK Young Artists exhibition, and the internationally renowned Format photography festival.
