Derby is just 20 minutes drive from East Midlands Airport, 50 minutes from Birmingham International Airport and 90 minutes from Manchester Airport.
From Derby it will only take you 1 hour 40 minutes to get to London St Pancras by train.
Kedleston Hall and Chatsworth House are nearby. The movie The Duchess starring Keira Knightley was filmed at both of these locations!
