Digital Dialogues
18th January 2011
The aim of D-MARC's Digital Dialogues symposium is to better acquaint us with some of the creative uses to which digital technology is being put within the Faculty, University and Region. As one might hope it will be a varied and exciting day covering such diverse topics as Shakespeare in Second Life; The Face in Cyber Space; Technology, Artistry, Creativity and Education; Collaborative Arts Projects and the Virtual Studio; and Digital Presences, Memory and the Insubstantial Object.
We are fortunate to have external speakers Lei Cox, Professor of Video and Photographic Arts at Nottingham Trent University; internationally exhibited artist Peter Finnemore, who is Visiting Professor to the faculty; and hopefully David Stent, a founder of the Dispatx Artist's On-Line Collective. Lunch will be provided.
