You can take our Access to Higher Education Diploma or our Foundation Programme - Joint Honours, which will give you a recognised qualification to get into university.

If you feel you need a smaller step to get back into education we offer two adult literacy courses Rising Skills and First Focus.

What will I study?

You'll study core subjects, such as study skills, maths, and english.

If you go onto the Access or Foundation Programme you'll choose three more subjects from social sciences, sciences, health science, business and computing.

What you choose will depend on what you want to do after you've finished the course. Our tutors will be able to help you make the right choice.

When will I study?

This depends on what course you are best suited to. Rising Skills only runs two days a week for 10 weeks but the Access course and the Foundation Programme run for a whole academic year.

What are the entry requirements for these courses?

You don't need any specific qualifications to enrol, but you'll need to show you're committed to learning.

Also to make sure that you're on the correct course we'll ask you to take a short literacy test.
