Postgraduate (PG) Regulatory Frameworks 2008: Following an internal review, the University now recognises three distinct postgraduate frameworks.
The first is the Postgraduate Taught Framework (PGT) which encompasses a range of programmes at Level 7 [master's level] leading to the traditional master's degrees and the staged qualifications en route. The second is the Postgraduate Research Framework (PGR) which enables students to undertake training in research normally culminating in the production of a thesis or an exhibition of works and the award of the Doctor of Philosophy. The third framework is the Postgraduate Professional Framework (PGP) which provides programmes designed to enhance personal professional development and increase contribution to the growth of the students chosen profession.
The three sets of regulations are available below.
