Description

This interactive day will give your students a chance to test-drive a degree in a humanities subject. They will attend an academic lecture, take part in interactive taster sessions and have the opportunity to find out what a humanities degree entails and where it can take them.

Our undergraduate Mentors will work closely with students throughout the day, and are always happy to talk about their own experiences and answer questions. A range of our degree programmes are available to choose from to form the focus of the day, including History, English and Creative Writing.

  • History Challenge Day - Full day, Year 12-13/Access
  • Social politics and the role of women - 1-1.5 hours, Year 12-13/Access
  • First World War: The big debate - 1-1.5 hours, Year 12-13/Access
  • American history: USA '68 - 1-1.5 hours, Year 12-13/Access
  • Why study...? Talks - 1 hour, Year 12-13/Access
