The College of Health and Social Care is made up of three Departments.

Department of Health Care Practice

If you're interested in helping to plan and deliver health and social care services, we have the course for you. Our courses equip you with the knowledge and skills to become a confident and reflective worker, strengthening your ability to support vulnerable adults and children. Learning includes topical theory and valuable work placements to help prepare you for the challenging and rewarding field of health and social care.

Department of Social and Community Studies

To meet the demands of this fast-paced and dynamic industry, we equip you with the full range of skills and theories that you'll need to work effectively in a variety of settings. All of our courses are centred on helping you to become a confident worker in health, social or community field.

Department of Therapeutic Practice

If you are a compassionate individual with strong ambitions to help others get the most out of life and reach their full potential we have the course for you. Many of our courses are professionaly accredited; this entitles you to apply to register with appropriate regulatory bodies once you've graduated. All of our courses are centred on strengthening your skills and preparing you for a rewarding career in therapeutic practice.
